Longmeadow police warning residents of two catalytic converter thefts in public areas

LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) – The Longmeadow Police Department is informing residents of two separate incidents in which catalytic converters were removed from vehicles.

Longmeadow Police said both incidents occurred on weekdays during the day in public places where several other vehicles were also parked.

Police have also said that removing these parts from a vehicle usually requires saws that make loud noises. If you see anything suspicious in a parking lot or driveway, we encourage you to contact your local police department.
